Struck by the Perth Mint from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, this exclusive Coin Show Special is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act.
The coin's reverse portrays the grace and majesty of the Australian Black Swan in flight. The design was suggested by the artist, Andor Meszaros, in 1966 for the reverse of the new 20 cent decimal coin. Although it was not selected, the image is remebered by many for it's appearance on the obverse of the legendary but unofficial "Goose Dollar"
Just 2500 of these were released by the Perth Mint in Coin Show Special Packaging at the ANDA Gold Coast show.
